Advanced 1 Starts 19th Oct 2025
4 Sunday sessions. Building on intermediate 1 and 2 skills on increasingly challenging trails.
Service Description
This Course is 4 x 2 hour sessions for those whom have completed our Intermediate 2 mountain bike course and are looking to progress their skills further on more technical trail situations. What skills does the course cover ? The course builds on the skills gained through our Intermediate 1 and 2 sessions and provides progression of key skills (taught previously). We then use challenging trails to apply these skills as we also asses and break down the trail lines. (Hence the need for all participants to have completed our Intermediate courses as a prerequisite to be able to attend the Advanced sessions). Session 1 is our familiar approach of new skills taught in a more open area without the trail distractions. Sessions 2-4 are on a real trail environment with an aim to continue to progress the skill and confidence of the participants each session, testing whilst teaching how to handle the more difficult aspects of the trail set chosen. Note some black trails will be encountered in these sessions. Course Detail: Specific skills include (but are not limited to), rock waterfall, rock steps, dense rock gardens, steep climbing pinches, high speed hairpin, descending corners, larger rock drop, higher speed descending rock gardens, higher speed technical climbs, advance line selection and more! (As always each participant has the option to skip any of the challenges - but why would you??- when you have us here to help!!) When are the sessions?
